Movement is Medicine ✨
Movement is not just about shaping the body — it’s about coming home to it...
Throughout pregnancy and postpartum I found it mentally challenging not to be able to move my body as I could do pre -pregnancy. But as I practiced patience and willpower, over time my body began to change allowing me to do more and more. But the time had to be right.
When we move, we awaken our life force. We stir up stagnant energy, release tension, and reconnect with parts of ourselves that may have been silent for too long.
We think of movement as mainly providing physical benefits but there is so much more on the flipside…
Spiritually, conscious movement becomes a form of meditation — a way to embody being in the present moment. It grounds us in the now, drawing our awareness out of busy thoughts and into the rhythm of our body and breath.
Movement is a way to feel empowered, rooted, and reconnected!
