He coaches Muay Thai for a living. And he still shows up to get coached himself.
Meet (Ollie), Muay Thai coach, and one of the most complete athletes we train. Here's the thing most people get wrong: the best in any field don't stop being coached. They lean into it. Ollie hands the programming over, focuses on the work, and lets the results take care of themselves.
And the results this last block of training? Absurd:
ποΈ 141kg back squat β at 80kg bodyweight. Nearly 1.8x his own weight on the bar.
π 5k PB β from 28:11 down to 19:52. Sub-20. Ridiculous.
And he's not a powerlifter or a runner β he's an all round athlete.
A normal week for Ollie:
Lower + Engine: back squats, RDLs, sled pushes, skierg
Upper: 180 bench 5x5, 8 sets of pull-ups, 12 minutes of continuous push-ups
Full Body: deadlifts at 80%, carries, burpees
Speed: 8x400m around - 3:18/km pace
Threshold: 8-12km tempo runs
Strong AND fast AND fit. Coaching his own sport, and being coached in ours. That's what structure and accountability actually do.
Outstanding, Ollie. πͺ
