I challenge thee!!

Never underestimate the power of the random things in your kitchen, teeming with limitless potential.

Recipe:
Tear the bag of lentils and throw it in the microwave.

Set it up for two minutes and get ready...

Grab lettuce, croutons, cherry tomatoes, tuna and a handful of raisins and SLAM DUNK them in a bowl.

Bit of olive oil, vinegar, pinch of salt, bit of pepper and a bit of basil.

Mix it up all together and make sure you made it under DOS MINUTOS or you lose.

Get those lentils and serve them in a bowl with coriander feeling like Gordon Ramsey.

While you are at it, have two easy peelers for dessert instead of any s**tty processed s**t and hit 2 of your 5 a day, I guess.

Flexible training!

Today I was going to do an upper and lower body pull session but since I was already out there going for a brisk walk with my wife I got rid of the chin ups.

3 sets to failure, one set everytime we completed a full route through the park, and a couple of hours later, after training my clients I finished my pull session 👍

You can try that with pull ups and chin ups on days you train your back and the same with dips on push days if you have at home some bodyweight station. Do a few reps every hour during the day until you reach 40 reps, for example. It's a great way to work on strenght without taking too much of your time ⏳

Also it was a very cold morning!

Early morning workout today, at 8:30 am already outdoors enjoying the weather after the storm!

Little finisher for today's session, trying to include several movements at the same time for a bit of conditioning.

Let's call it...

Clean to Drop Squat to Push Press.

Yes.

Something like that.

3 rounds of 6 reps on each side, with minimum rest everytime you switch sides, as heavy as you can go keeping good form, which was 20 kg for me and a real killer towards the end!

These prices applies to the remaining sessions that you might have bought before the gym closed provided we do them on we**am format. So if you decide to use them during lockdown and you had 5 remaining sessions you now have 10! Double down!

Also if you recommend me to your friends or family for online sessions and they buy a block of ten during lockdown, they will get the same price and you will get a complimentary session to be redeemed either online or back when the gym reopens!

We are all locked down now and we need to stay at home and protect those at risk but remember it is still very important to try to stay healthy to have a strong immune system.

We are allowed to go out once a day so I really encourage you that at least day on day off use that once a day to go out to the parks or quieter areas and go for a walk, run or even a bit of a workout in the different training stations the park offers.

The other days try a full body workout at home. All of you who have a bit of equipment already know what to do, the rest remember that this is a great chance to start some body weight workouts, even the simpler movements will make the difference!

There are thousands of those workouts online so don't overthink it, keep it simple and pick one that is at your level and go for it, the more focused on elevating your heart rate the better. This is a great chance to get fitter, we do have the time now!

I am going to post myself some mini workouts and ideas with minimum equipment as well on the following days so I can share a bit of that with you guys, but I am also still working as personal trainer, business as usual, just from Skype :)

If anyone is interested on one to one sessions with guidance and checking what space and equipment you have, let me know so we keep smashing it no matter what!

Please take all good care of yourselves and hopefully see you again as soon as possible with longer hair and thicker beards, but more athletic than ever!
