The Project works in conjunction with the school to repair bikes that have been put out as refuse and sells them to the public at very low cost, encouraging people to take up cycling to help with their health. It also sells bike parts and services bikes again at a low cost. The scheme also provides alternate curriculum for the students of the school to learn bike maintenance, use cycling as a sports lesson or simply go for rides for pleasure.

We are currently training the Primary feeder school children in year 6, in the National Cycle Training level 1 course, (old cycle proficiency) to promote them to cycle to school when they start in September. Especially as the school is located on the Taff Trail, it enables the students to avoid the traffic and dangers associated.
