What a day at the Barry 10K yesterday 🏃‍♀️🖤🩷

The girls from the Crawlers absolutely smashed it — supporting each other every step of the way, digging deep when it got tough, and getting each other through to the finish line together.

That’s what it’s all about ❤️
Not just the miles, but the encouragement, the laughs, the “you’ve got this" moments

What a weekend for the Cilfynydd Crawlers!

Graft, grit, and serious results🏅

Massive respect to our first-time marathon runners with Nadia and Jake running Manchester and Jac, Josh, Kelly and Michelle running Newport. You stepped up and got it done. That’s a lifetime achievement no one can ever take away from you👏🏼👏🏼

Dave and Darren also put in the work at Newport - well done both🤜

Abi… over an HOUR knocked off your marathon time. That’s not normal - that’s elite-level determination🥵

Andrew getting himself back up to 10K runs - proper comeback.

Louise hitting her longest run to date - huge milestone👏🏼

From a small club to getting bodies across finish lines at events like these… it’s something else. Built on effort, consistency, and showing up when it’s hard.

Massive good luck to all our CILFYNYDD CRAWLERS taking on the Newport Marathon, Manchester Marathon, and Newport 10K! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The hard work, early mornings, and dedication you’ve all put in has been incredible to see – now it’s time to enjoy the moment and smash those goals. We’re all behind you every step of the way!

No matter the distance, you’ve already done the toughest part. Go out there, give it everything, and make yourselves proud.

Big night for the Crawlers👏

Tonight marks the last club run before a huge weekend for many of our crew taking on the Manchester and Newport Marathons, as well as the half marathons and 10Ks. The hard work is done - now it’s time to trust your training and go make it count🤜

To everyone lining up this weekend: best of luck. Run strong, stay focused, and enjoy every mile. We’re proud to have you representing the Cilfynydd Crawlers.

And to every member who’s been out week after week - thank you. This club is what it is because of you🩷🖤

We’re also looking to build up our walking group, so if running’s not your thing, come along next week and get involved. Everyone’s welcome.

Rain or shine, we’re getting it done🫡

Despite the poor forecast this evening, we’ll be heading out as usual for our recovery runs with distances ranging from 5km to 10km. Plenty of our regulars will also be sticking to their own plans as we sharpen up for races this weekend🏅

🏃‍♂️Runners: Meet at Cilfynydd RFC at 6:00pm.
🚶Walkers: Setting off from the Albion Cafe at 6:00pm.

We also keep things ticking over on WhatsApp with regular updates and chats – DM us to be added to either group.

No excuses, just graft. All welcome – come along and get it in🩷🖤
