Maggie's Voice Equestrian Center Bitless&Reward Based equestrian centre. At Maggie’s Voice we offer riding lessons and therapeutic horsemanship sessions.

Welcoming everyone, no matter your age, ability, needs and support we're here to help you learn about horses in a relaxed and wellbeing centred environment. Lessons are part horsemanship and part ridden and can be adapted to many ability levels. Sessions can be ideal experiencing difficulties in their life including personal troubles or challenges; mental illness, disability or simply the need for

a space to step back and reflect, by using the serenity and beauty of horses who offer an unquestioning acceptance of those who give them their time.

One thing I'd love to see more of in the horse world is welcoming and supporting one another.

We're all at different points in our journey, and instead of criticism and judgement, imagine what we could achieve with a little more encouragement, kindness and, in truth, a little human positive reinforcement.

After all, it's all about the horses in the end.

We all knew less once.

I truly believed in my previous ethos. I worked with dominance theory and believed my horses needed a strong leader.

Now? They're my colleagues, and I'd say they're paid pretty well. 🙈

Our understanding evolves. We learn. We grow. And that's exactly why we need to make space for people to ask questions, change their minds and do better when they know better.

At Maggie's Voice, we believe horses deserve a voice. Who knew our name would turn out to be quite so fitting?

Maggie is now living a wonderful retirement: resting, grazing, moving freely, enjoying enrichment, and having her needs met. They all deserve at least that.

Our horses do an incredible job helping hundreds of people of all ages and abilities learn about ethical horse management, behaviour, training and riding in the safest way possible. They teach us every day.

I'm so proud of what we're building, but I won't pretend it's easy. It's hard work, it's expensive, and there are plenty of challenges along the way.

So thank you to every single person who's here to learn, support, question, grow and come along on this journey with us.

Less judgement. More curiosity.

Less criticism. More encouragement.

More listening—to each other, and to the horses.

We are thrilled to announce that Maggie's Voice Equestrian Center will be hosting our second Positive Reinforcement Camp from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th August 2026 🐴💚

To help make camp more accessible, we are now accepting payment in installments!

Camp Prices

Bring your own horse — £595

Hire a horse (non-ridden) — £620

Hire a horse (ridden) — £650

Spectator — £285

Maggie’s Voice has a wonderful selection of R+ ponies available to hire for both ridden and non-ridden sessions throughout the weekend.

Camping Facilities Include

Shared access to fridge and freezer space (we recommend bringing a cool box and ice packs)

Toilets and showers

Shared kitchen facilities with microwave and kettle (camping stoves welcome)

New Installment Payment Option

To secure your space:

Pay a 1/3 non-refundable deposit upon booking

Pay the second 1/3 by the end of June

Pay the final 1/3 by the end of July

Please note that all payments are non-refundable, as we need to secure bookings and ensure we have appropriate numbers to run the camp successfully.

A limited number of spectator spaces are also available. Spectators are welcome to:

Join us at Maggie’s Voice EC with Epona Mounted Archers for an exciting weekend of mounted archery fun, training, and friendly competition!

📅 August 29th & 30th
⛺ Camping welcome from the evening of August 28th

✨ What to expect:
• Morning training sessions
• Friendly competition in the afternoons
• Supportive environment
• Open to ALL levels — beginners to experienced riders welcome!
• Horses available for hire
• All horses are ridden in a bitless, reward-based way. If this is new to you, we’re happy to help — no judgement, just a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for everyone.

💥 Prices:
🐴 Own horse — £190
🐎 Hire horse — £340 (limited spaces available)

🏕 Camping included

🏠 Stable — £20
🌿 Field corral space — £10
(Please bring your own corral fencing, power source, etc.)

🪵 Please bring your own hay, bedding, water buckets, etc.
Supplies can also be purchased through our supplier if needed.
