I am not a method coach that teaches the same method to every player I work with. I am also studying to be fully certified with The David Leadbetter Academy. This gives me access to mentorship from some of the best coaches in the world, therefore using that mentorship to transfer to my clients. To provide you with the best possible foundations of a golf swing I firmly believe in teaching the funda

mentals of the game including Grip, Alignment, Aim, Stance and Posture. My coaching philosophy is to provide my clients with a holistic approach to the game which involves bringing the social, physical and mental aspects to the game. I firmly believe that every golfer can break 100, 90 or 80 if you have great fundamentals incorporated with an understanding of the flow of the swing.

About Ridgeway Golf Coaching

MEET BEN HARVEY

I'm a passionate, caring and genuine golf coach based at Ridgeway Golf Club in Caerphilly. I love to use every day analogies and questions to make the technical parts of the game easier for my clients. I guide my clients in the right direction helping them use their mindset effectively to develop natural, individual and powerful golf swings. I believe that there is not just one way of playing this game and developing great results.

I offer my services through private and group sessions at Ridgeway Golf Club or taking my clients away on one of my game changing golf trips! I have been playing golf for over 18 years and turned professional with the European Golf Teachers Federation back in 2013. I am now a member of the European Golf Coaches. I am passionate about travel and have been to over 20 countries worldwide playing golf from the West Coast of California to the West Coast of Thailand.

I am extremely passionate about the game of golf and it has been a large piece of my life since a young age. I like to read golf books whether they are to do with the mindset, technique or personal development. This is to help aid my own development as well as my students. I am also in the process of writing my own mindset book. This book is full of many stories, anecdotes and tips I have learnt through my experience so far in this wonderful game.

WHO ARE THE EUROPEAN GOLF COACHES?

The European Golf Coaches is an organisation for golf professionals to learn more about coaching, development and the coaching business. We have a network of master golf coaches who have decades of years combined experience within the organisation. With this level of experience the EGC hold online and live seminars throughout the year to expand the knowledge of their coaches.

PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS

I offer private one to one golf coaching sessions to men, women and juniors ages 5 and up. I provide a personal and approachable golf coaching service to my clients through half hour or 1 hour sessions. I also offer on course coaching sessions for my clients to help them develop not only their technique but also their mental game on the course. This may be what club to choose, what type of shot to hit or their general attitude on the course. I offer mindset coaching, goal setting and many other aspects of the game.

GROUP COACHING

I also offer group coaching sessions for beginners that want to gain access into the game of golf in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. I feel that the game of golf should be available to anyone. These group sessions will be for juniors and a mixed group of men and women coming together to learn the basics of the game which include: grip, alignment, stance and posture. These fundamentals will help structure a foundation to give you the ability to build your own individual golf swing.

WHAT EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES DO I HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR GAME?

At Ridgeway Golf Club I have a private closed off teaching bay that allows me to teach my clients in a relaxed and uninterrupted environment. I have many teaching and training aids to help my clients improve their games and develop their own individual golf swing.

30 Minute Private Session = £20

Junior 45 Minute Session = £25

1 Hour Group Coaching Session = £13.50 per person (minimum of 3 people)
