🏃🏼♀️🏋🏼♀️ PROGRESSION 🏋🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️
I think we all have that one thing that sometimes maybe we don’t enjoy doing so much..mine is definitely my weekly run 🤣🤣 would rather chuck some tin around any day but always set aside one of my days for a run.
As much as it’s not my favourite (being honest) it’s definitely a little weekly challenge for me to get it in and get it done 💪🏻 but I always feel better for it afterwards 🥰
Within two weeks my pace has increased, I felt fitter, stronger and decreased my time by 1 min 55 secs..but I’m determined to get that 5k under 30 minutes at least 🏃🏼♀️ and being able to see the progression only gives you more inscentive to keep on pushing
This just cements for me even more what strength training does on a whole..how it not only makes you stronger but improves your fitness levels on a whole in so many other aspects of your training and another reinforcement that you don’t have to be slamming the cardio as much as you think
Maybe set yourself a little weekly challenge, something you want to improve on and keep chipping away at every week, as long as you remember the only competiton you have is yourself and you can do anything you put your mind to, then you’ll smash it 🥰
