🏉 BLAENAVON RFC U13s TOURNAMENT 🏉

What a fantastic day for our first U13s tournament! 🖤🤍🩷

A huge thank you to every team that travelled to Blaenavon RFC to take part. We were treated to some superb rugby throughout the day, but just as importantly, the behaviour, respect and sportsmanship shown by all the players was outstanding.

Every club should be incredibly proud of their teams. 👏 The players were a credit to their clubs, coaches and families, and it was brilliant to see so many young players enjoying their rugby.

A special thank you to our referees who travelled from Barry to support the event. Your time, professionalism and support throughout the day were hugely appreciated and helped make the tournament possible. 🏉👏

📸 We would also like to give special recognition and a huge thank you to The Rugby Photographer for attending and capturing the day for us. The fantastic action shots and brilliant drone footage of the games, players and teams have given us some amazing memories of our first tournament. We really appreciate you giving your time and talent to support our event. 📸🎥🏉

A massive thank you also goes to all of the stall holders and vendors who came along and supported our event. Your involvement helped make the day that little bit more special and created a fantastic atmosphere for everyone attending. ❤️

And, of course, thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped organise, volunteer, set up, pack away and make the day possible. Events like this simply couldn’t happen without people giving up their time to help.

For our first time hosting a tournament, we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

It was a brilliant way to kick off the 2026/27 season, and we hope everyone who joined us enjoyed the day as much as we did.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to Blaenavon RFC again in the future.

Today is the day, our rugby tournament is here! ⚫️⚪️💪🏻 looking forward to welcoming everyone to come and join us for this fantastic event ⚫️⚪️🏉 tournament is 9-5pm and then we have music and we have Ember & Crust based in the Blaenavon RFC car park

Sunday 6th September we are hosting our own U13s rugby tournament. Come along and support the players, they would love to see everyone there cheering them on 🥰

Aside from great rugby, we have a great day lined up for everyone. Food vendors, games, sweet treats, inflatables, ice cream van and lots more stalls! It’s a real family event! ❤️

Any local businesses that are able to help a few of our boys out with sponsorship this season?
