1st big competition of the year in wales , Great day of boules , lovely atmosphere and weather was stunning , congratulations to all winning teams especially our own kym and George teamed up with Ammie from Greenlawn Boule Club winning the gold trophy, 🏆 Thankyou to the Welsh Petanque Association for a great competition

Safe travels and Good luck to all our ladies , our own kym Twyn Y Ffrwd , Tansy and Barbara from Caerleon RFC Petanque and Jayne from Monkstone Petanque Club , will try to keep you all updated and keep your fingers crossed for us 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

On behalf of the members of the Welsh Petanque Association we would like to wish Barbara Vaughan, Tansy Mayfield, Kym Jeffrey and Jayne Dunn safe travels and all the very best as they head off to Douais in France to participate in the 20th World Championship Triples: Women and the 13th World Championship Precision Shooting: Women, from 09 to 12 October. They will be supported by our Head of Delegation Tony Smith and National Coach Jean-Yves Robic.

A total of 43 federations from around the world have registered for what promises to be an exciting and highly competitive championship. Where allowed we will be hoping to provide some live action. The official Championship website can be located by clicking on the following link
