Now that the season is done and dusted, we can reflect.

Our First Team struggled to get going in the early part of the campaign, finishing just above the cut to reach the Premier Division. However, we picked up form and went on a good run winning 8 out of 9 games, and narrowly missing out on a cup final after losing a penalty shootout.

We were also finally able to field a Reserve Team for the first time in years. While holding their own, the boys finished a very respectable 3rd in the First Division. 👏

The merger from Cwmafan Football Club to Cwmavon BGC has also been massive, bringing the best of both together. Alongside this, an influx of youth players stepped up and played their part for both teams over the course of the season.

Overall, despite our league positions, a solid foundation has been set for the boys to strive and push on next season.

The future is bright.

Last night seen the our Reserve’s take all 3 points!

We end the season with a win, the boys dug deep after going 1-0 down early on to come out comfortable 3-1 winners. ⚽️

The boys can now have a well earned break and regroup ready for the new season! 🔵🟡

Today’s fixture..

Tonight our Reserves host Port Talbot Town FC Reserve’s in the final game of the season.

After a disappointing result on Saturday the boys look to bounce back an finish on a high! ⚽️

Good luck to everyone in the Celtic Beat Dance group tonight, what a moment, stepping onto the live semi-final stage of Britain’s Got Talent! Representing Port Talbot on a stage like that is something special, so take it in and enjoy every second.
