There are six core modules that covers on the 200-Hour Foundation Programme and the Roots of Yoga Philosophy is one of them.

The assignment for the summer was to take time off studying….but summer is peak yang season with its active, outward, expansive energy.

So instead of resisting it, I’ve used it and it’s felt so good to be create while the energy is high! I’ve poured that momentum and creative energy into work projects (essentially meaning writing more manuals!)

I haven’t neglected the other side of the coin, protecting my yin energy taking time for rest, practising Qigong, guilt free time off, slower mornings and catching up with friends.

That’s the whole practice isn’t it…knowing when to push and listen when to rest and that’s my biggest takeaway from my studies…working with the yang energy without burning out, and nourish yin!

The best part…I’ve still got a few more weeks before uni life begins again.

But for now, I’m excited to share my 50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training is open for enrolment THE WAY

A DECADE OF RETREATS
I can’t believe I’ve been hosting retreats for 10 years! However, in 2027 I’ll be taking a break to focus on 3rd year studies and acupuncture clinic but I will be back with a special offering for 2028 💛

So, this year will be the last opportunity to join me at a gorgeous private villa nestled in the sand dunes of Meakis Beach, Crete.

You’ll nourish your body and mind with guided morning yoga sessions overlooking the turquoise waters. In the evenings, you’ll deepen your practice as the sun melts into the horizon.

In between, you can stroll along the secluded beaches, swim in crystal-clear waters, or explore Crete’s hidden gems.

Each beautiful group and gorgeous venue brings its own particular magic which I still can’t quite put into words even after a decade!
