Kombat Ju-Jitsu

Kombat Ju-Jitsu We are a martial arts club based on traditional Ju-Jitsu but with a modern self defence take. Our style uses strikes, kicks, locks, throws, and grappling.

Ju-Jitsu is the ancient martial art of the samurai. Loosely translated it means “The Gentle Art”. This refers to the action of using an opponent’s own force to defeat them. It was created to defeat armed and armoured opponents without the use of weapons on the battlefield. Strikes and kicks against an armoured opponent were deemed infective so the use of throws, grappling and locks was employed. K

JJ adopts many of the old techniques but also incorporates modern, more applicable techniques for todays society.
