Well, It was a privilege to watch our Keith Davies MBE being awarded, by councillor Wayne Owen.

Freedom Of The City of Pontyclun

Keith was awarded the Freedom for his long standing services to Miskin Manor Cricket Club, Keith has been involved with the club for more than 50 years as a Player a Coach also setting up the Outstanding Junior Section, and now in his 80's Keith can be found on a Friday evening at the club supporting the juniors.

When the cricket season finishes, Keith then turned his sporting ability to Pontyclun Rugby Club, where he played an active roll within the club.

From all at MMCC we would like to say Congratulations Keith.

Keith, was keen to point out he's in 'good company' as another prominent member of our club John Painter was awarded the Freedom last year. As was Ned Probyn from the Rugby Club.

From starting out in girls’ softball to joining the pathway her journey has been built at Miskin - full of enthusiasm, friendships and steady progress. Now playing U12 hardball, she’s loving every moment and making the most of every opportunity.
