Hey everyone! With the evenings closing in (but the water temp still gorgeously warm) it’s time we pushed back our opening time a little, so this Wednesday evening’s session will start at 17:30 (gates open at 17:00). We’ll keep swimming until last light. You can turn up at anytime during the session as long as you leave enough time for your swim. See you soon! Evolve Endurance

Going red! You may have a seen a (not so) subtle shift in our crew uniforms over the course of the season with a switch to red uniform over our traditional blue! Also the logo is Evolve Rescue, We are still Evolve Endurance but have decided to kit our crew out in the Evolve Rescue red clothing to make them standout but also reflect their role in keeping all our swimmers safe. From booking/checking you in at the office/lakeside to the safety paddlers and lifeguards on the water they all form an important chain of safety and care. You’ll still see the blue worn poolside by our coaches and soon you’ll may see the green of our Evolve Wilderness instructors as we continue to roll out our new branding and activities program (more on that soon or drop us a DM to find out more). Most of all though the safety crew are highly viable and easy to spot if you have a question or need some help. We hope you like it!

There’s talk that the swim element of the Ironman Leeds won’t go ahead (still awaiting official confirmation) due to blue-green algae. If this is the case we are offering existing blue lagoon swimmers (must have swum with us this year) a FREE swim this Saturday morning (15th) to allow you to get your iron swim in. I know it’s not the same but gives you the chance to at least do all disciplines in the same 48 hour period. If you want to take us up on this 1. Don’t book in advance, turn up and we’ll book you for free 2. Bring proof of your entry (race number, receipt, athlete wrist band if you have it, etc…) 3. Enjoy a consolation dip on us! Just to clarify regarding Wednesday Evening’s session. This is our normal session where you can swim or paddleboard at the usual session prices. Spectators are welcome as usual but the Blue Lagoon isn’t open to the general public so visitors must have a valid booking or be spectating someone who has. Bookings can be made on the night but advanced booking via our website or mobile app is recommended as we do have capacity limits. It’ll be a magical evening and we look forward to seeing you soon!
