HEMSWORTH MINERS WELFARE CC WIN BY 6 WICKETS! 💙

A brilliant all-round performance from the 2nd XI as they bowled Notton CC out for just 67 before chasing the target down in style, reaching 69/4.

A superb bowling display saw Elliot Roberts take 4/27 and Steven Biddulph claim 4/37, accounting for 8 of the 10 Notton wickets between them.

Andy Briggs also chipped in with an incredible 2/0 from just 0.4 overs! 🔥

🏏 WEEK 20 — FIXTURES ARE IN! 🏏

After a tough couple of weeks, we’re heading into another important Saturday for The Wells.

🔵 1st XI are at home against South Kirkby CC
🟡 2nd XI head away to Sykehouse CC

But this week, the biggest push is availability.

💪 WE NEED EVERYONE TO DO THEIR BIT TO GET TWO TEAMS OUT.

With both teams having plenty to play for, we need as many players available as possible. Whether you’re in the XI, on the bench or helping the club get over the line — every player matters.

🏏 MATCH RESULT | 1ST XI

A heartbreaking finish for the Wells as the 1st XI fell to Brodsworth Main CC by 6 wickets in a game that went right down to the wire.

Hemsworth batted first and posted a competitive 227/4 from their 46 overs.

The Wells then battled hard with the ball, taking the game right to the final delivery.

With Brodsworth needing 3 runs from the final ball to win, the Wells had pushed the game to the absolute limit.

Sadly, Brodsworth found the boundary, hitting a four off the final ball to seal a 6-wicket victory.

A seriously tough one to take after such a close contest, but plenty of fight and character shown by the Wells.
