⛳️ FIRST HOLE IN ONE FOR GRAHAM PERCIVAL! 🏌️‍♂️🎉

Congratulations to Graham Percival, who recorded his first-ever Hole in One on Thursday 10th September, on our 7th hole.

Graham first started playing golf at the age of 12, but has been playing the game much more seriously over the past eight years, making this a particularly special milestone.

It was a chilly start to the day, but that didn’t stop a memorable moment from unfolding.

Graham took driver from the tee, producing a shot with a little fade towards the green. When the group reached the hole, there was no sign of the ball and Graham initially thought it may have run through the back of the green.

After a short search, playing partner Alan Pye suggested that Graham had better check the hole — and there it was! 🕳️👏

The achievement was witnessed by Dave Grassham, Alan Pye and Richard Laird.

A fantastic moment for Graham and one he will no doubt remember for many years to come.

We’re delighted to announce that Ison Harrison Solicitors are extending their partnership with The Prince of Wales Hospice.

2026 was due to be the final year of Ison Harrison’s three-year Platinum sponsorship of our Golf Day, but we’re delighted that they have chosen to extend their support through 2026 and 2027, covering two Golf Days each year.

The Golf Day has become a highlight of the year, bringing businesses together to enjoy some friendly competition, build connections and raise vital funds for the Hospice.

“We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with The Prince of Wales Hospice and to extend our support to two golf days from next year.

🏌️‍♂️ HOLE IN ONE – REECE CAUNCE! ⛳️👏

Huge congratulations to Reece Caunce, who recorded his first ever Hole in One on Saturday 29th August on our Par-3, 14th hole.

Reece hit a 7-wood with a slight fade, landing the ball just short of the green before watching it roll beautifully up towards the pin — and then disappear into the hole! 🎯

The timing couldn’t have been much better either. Reece was playing Darren Sedgwick in the Semi-Final of the Marshall Trophy, and the ace helped him on his way to securing a place in the final.

Reece has been playing golf for around three years, spending his first two years at Lupset before joining Pontefract & District in 2025.

A fantastic achievement and certainly a moment Reece won’t forget in a hurry.

Congratulations Reece — great shot and very well played! 👏⛳️🏆 PS: Good luck in the final!

Mr Captain and Madam Captain hosted an excellent away day at Stamford Golf Club Manchester. The course was in excellent condition and some fantastic golf was played by more than 40 golfers in teams of 4. Both Captains would like to thank all for their fantastic support not only yesterday but throughout the year !

Ladies I wanted to thank you all so much for making this weekend so much fun ❤️⛳️
You are all absolutely brilliant and I am so thankful to be part of such a wonderful ladies section.
The last couple of days have been full of laughs, drink, food, oh and some questionable golf ⛳️ 😬 If I never see another bunker or tree it will be too soon!🤣 🌲🌲🌲🌲
I’ll be resting all week but will hopefully see you all soon 😴
