Just 3 weeks until we start pre-season training on Wednesday 24th June. New players welcome.

P&SCCC 1st XI won the toss and elected to bat first.

Unfortunately, it didn’t go to plan as regular wickets left us on the back foot. Nathan and Bradley steadied things with a much-needed partnership, but we were unable to build on it and post a competitive total.

Polegate made an early breakthrough with the ball, but we couldn’t maintain the pressure. Skipper Stuart picked up a few wickets late on, but it wasn’t enough to turn the game around.

A disappointing day for the 1st XI, who know they’ll need to be much better next time out.
