🏏 Thank You Everyone! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support and take part in the Six-a-Slyde cricket tournament on Sunday. It was another fantastic day.

We are incredibly proud and delighted to announce that we raised an amazing £1,305 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Thank you again to everyone who bought raffle tickets and for all the generous donations.

Thank you to all the players, supporters, volunteers, organisers, and everyone who donated or helped make the day run smoothly.

We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow! There will be plenty of food available to purchase throughout the day. The forecast is looking promising, and it looks like we should stay dry - please do come and support us come rain or shine ☔️☀️

🥓Bacon sandwiches will be available from 10am up until around lunchtime.

🍔From around 12pm burgers fresh from the BBQ will be available.

There will also be amazing Sri Lankan food from Elephant’s Feast - Sri Lanka at The Core, Fusion At Its Finest in the afternoon.

A huge thank you to them for also kindly donating a £30 voucher for our raffle! 🙌

Nic’s Ices will also be coming at 12pm and 4pm for some tasty ice creams! 🍦

🏏❤️3 WEEKS TO GO… SIX-A-SLYDE ❤️🏏

The countdown is on!

In just 3 weeks, we will come together again for Six-a-Slyde, a cricket tournament held in memory of our much loved friend Sly Houlder. ❤️

We will be raising money for the incredible Yorkshire Air Ambulance , helping support the lifesaving work they do across Yorkshire. 🚁

🎟️ RAFFLE PRIZES! 🎟️

We’ve been lucky enough to receive some fantastic prizes from many local businesses and over the next few weeks we’ll be posting what you could win! Tickets will be £5 per strip and available to buy on the day. If you can’t make it but would still like to support us by purchasing some raffle tickets, please do get in touch and we can arrange this for you.

🏏 SIX A SLYDE IS BACK! 🏆

We’re delighted to announce the return of the Six A Slyde 6-a-Side Cricket Tournament at Pocklington Cricket Club.

This special day is held in memory of a truly great friend, Simon “Sly” Houlder, with teams once again competing for the Simon Houlder Cup. It’s always a fantastic day of cricket, bringing together friends, family and the local community to celebrate Sly’s memory in the best way.

There’ll be something for everyone, including:

Once again we are proud to be raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a charity that provides a vital lifesaving service across our region.
