What Am I Currently Training For?

I get asked quite frequently what I'm training for, and I haven't done an update in a while, so here it is...

I have pretty much transitioned my focus all to BJJ training

I'm on the mats 7+ times a week and using my gym training to focus on strength, conditioning, and injury prevention for BJJ.

Those who have known/followed me for a while would know I was into the "bodybuilding" scene, but I got bored of that a while ago.

A transition to functional fitness whilst looking and feeling good is much more enjoyable now.

I'm still feeling strong, but now more mobile and agile, I haven't even had to sacrifice any muscle mass....I think.

The focus change has ignited another fire in me for training, and I'm so glad I found it.

I'm currently preparing for my 4th BJJ competition, where I'll obviously be going for gold!

Don't be afraid of trying new things, as you'll never know where it'll take you!

Oh No, I Went Off Plan This Weekend!!

Here's my question to you...

What was the plan in the first place?

Was it to be super restrictive and avoid all foods you enjoy?

Was it to see if you eventually lost weight through guesswork?

Probably not the greatest of plans

Instead of feeling like you "went off plan"

How would you like some flexibility with your diet?

The ability to enjoy a meal each week and still be able to lose weight

All you have to do is balance the scales

If you want to eat more one day, lower accordingly, around it

If it's a lot more than usual, just up your exercise as well

By following that concept, you can stay on track with your weight management without even tracking food

Obviously, if you want to be more accurate, tracking food and activity will help
