We did it! 🎉

We’ve officially held our very first session at Hele's School on the brand-new court we built from the ground up. From painting fresh lines to getting new hoops, bibs, and basketballs, everything was put in place so the kids could get out there and play.

What started as an idea from Coach Glenn became a reality thanks to a court-painting commission from the Plympton Pickleball Project — and we couldn’t be more excited to see it come to life.

Now we’re back out painting more courts across Plymouth, including Keyham, Compton, Cattedown, and Stonehouse. We’re working hard behind the scenes to secure even more funding, and if everything comes together, this summer is going to be full of colour, community, and plenty of outdoor sport and activities.

Age groups: Under 7s (Year 2) to Under 15s (Year 9)

The IFA are pleased to be launching a new Girls’ Development Centre in Saltash, providing a positive, structured and enjoyable environment for young female players, built on the foundations of our established academy programme.

The programme is designed to help girls build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy their football, while also offering clear progression opportunities into colleges, football clubs and girls’ academies.

📍 Location: Saltmill, Saltash
🗓 Training: Mondays and Fridays
⏰ Time: 5.00pm to 6.00pm

Trials will take place in the last week of February:
• Monday 23 February
• Friday 27 February

The centre will begin at the start of March and is open to both new and existing players.
