Played an internal tournament today. Instead of using “Hoop 13” as a decider, we used some of our newly fabricated “Crazy Golf” kit.
(All constructed by one of ourmembers, Lee)
Note the finish is solar powerd with flashing lights when ball exits into the box on right)

After bravely fighting illness for the past year, Chris Greensted died last Wednesday.
A club coach, and player of GC, AC, and SC his continual smile and encouragement will be sorely missed.

Sunny autumn afternoon.
Short Croquet on the winter lawn
At about 216 sq yards its just over a quarter lawn in area, but side ratios are best we can do.
Still demanding. No bisques and halved “yard line”.
Have to take care with placings and too easy to leave opponent wired

Much better than not playing at all!

Well, it was very, very warm, the courts where very,very dry and no green grass at all, but almost 20 club members spent the day contesting “The Mayflower Bowl” GC handicap doubles (7point games due to the heat)
Club President Bob Savage is presenting the bowl to the winners, Steve Roe and Richard Catchpole.
Thanks to Brian Wainman for arranging the day.

Busy on the lawns, others waiting for a game and lawn slot.

And Cornwall won.
