THIS SATURDAY at The Core 12-4pm

Three Peaks Climbathon Charity Fundraiser.

The Core, in partnership with The Ginger Prince Challenge team are undertaking their biggest challenge yet!
We will be climbing the equivalent of the UK’s highest peaks; Snowdon, Scarfell Pike and Ben Nevis on our very own indoor climbing wall which is a grand total of 3400 metres, making a total of 485 climbs!

We are raising funds for two charities; The Core & The Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The Core is a hoping to raise funds for a new venture enabling us to open our very own Community Workshop space, where people will share practical skills, fix and repair items and young people can learn essential life skills.

The Ginger Prince Challenge team will be climbing all afternoon, they have had a bit of practice having already climbed the 3 peaks seven times, but we would love your help!

The event is open to the public to come and take part and help us reach our goal. You don’t have to be an experienced climber as our qualified team will be on the other end of the belaying ropes all afternoon with support and words of encouragement. If you’d like to just come along and support these two great causes with a cup of tea and a piece of cake our café will be open for refreshments all afternoon.
