✨ Tomorrow is Performance Day ✨

Our beautiful Little Starshine Ballet dancers and students from our Widey Academy of Ballet are so excited to perform at the fayre tomorrow. 🩰💖

From our tiniest ballerinas to our older children, everyone has been working so hard practising their dances and growing in confidence ready for their special moment on stage ✨

Watching children blossom through ballet is always so magical and I honestly could not be prouder of them already 🌟

✨ Say hello to gorgeous little Rosie ✨

This little ballerina’s story feels quite surreal for me 💖

Around five years ago, when I was teaching in Callington, Rosie’s mummy, Lorna was one of the very first mummies to join my ballet classes with big sister Robyn, who wasn’t even walking yet at the time 🩰

I taught her for several years before moving to Devon to continue growing Little Starshine Ballet.

Fast forward to now, Lorna has since had another two babies and suddenly I’m teaching the next little sister, Rosie, with Lorna now travelling all the way from Launceston to dance with Miss Tracy in Tavistock every week😱 ✨
I never thought that I would see them again! 🤗

I'm so lucky to have amazing ballet families that don't forget about Miss Tracy❤️. Thank you Lorna, for trusting me again, years later with Rosie, the biggest compliment that you have much faith in me!

It feels so special seeing a whole new generation of little dancers coming through Little Starshine Ballet. Moments like this really remind me how lucky I am to be part of these children’s journeys 💕

✨ A Huge Congratulations to Abena and Florence ✨

I am so incredibly proud to share that Abena and Florence, two of our wonderful Year 2 students at Little Starshine Ballet, have been selected to graduate into our Widey Ballet Academy 💖

This is such a special achievement and reflects their hard work, dedication, confidence and love of dance throughout their time at Little Starshine Ballet.

Watching young dancers grow not only in technique, but also in confidence and self belief, is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching ballet. Abena and Florence should both feel extremely proud of themselves.

I know they will continue to shine brightly in this exciting next chapter at Widey Ballet Academy ✨

HOW WAS MISS TRACY'S WEDNESDAY THIS WEEK?

I went have to share this😲
Well, not sure what the correct words would be, but I would say.... UNLUCKY!
Wednesday was the first day of the new term, so plenty of excitement to share my new class plan with the Ballerinas. Sadly it was short lived as my super reliable car chose to breakdown on the way! 😲

Hold on.... now I become VERY unlucky!

Fantastic news for the afternoon as the car is already back at home, fixed and ready for my journey to my afterschool ballet class.

EXCITED!

However, the mechanic seemed to have had very long legs with the drivers seat pushed far back, but it's no problem as I can just adjust it.

IT'S STUCK... what are the chances???

Helpful neighbours tried in vain, so it was time to admit defeat because as much as my tippy toes could touch the pedals by balancing on the edge of the seat, it obviously wasn't a solution🙈!

No ballet morning and afternoon😞 !
I'm so sorry to all my families, a very UNLUCKY day for Miss Tracy and I will make it up to you ❤️❤️
