ELIAH O’BRIEN vs TOMMY SMITH

October 10th throws up another cracking scrap as Eliah O’Brien of Intense Boxing Gym steps in against the always-game Tommy Smith.

Eliah comes into this one with confidence flying after two quality wins this year, picking up victories over Frankie Robinson and Steve Lomax. He’s building momentum, improving every time he steps through the ropes and will be looking to make it three from three.

But standing opposite him is Tommy Smith — a proper road warrior who has absolutely no problem travelling into someone else’s backyard and upsetting the plans. The last time Tommy came down to Plymouth, he left with the win, and he’ll be coming back believing he can do exactly the same again.

Eliah has the momentum. Tommy has the experience and the away-day mentality. Neither man is turning up to make up the numbers.
