Eggbuckland Activate The Activate Community Sports Program is designed for users from the local community of all ages to engage in regular physical activity.

The varied menu of activities caters for a range of abilities in a variety of sports, fitness and martial arts. The College facilities are a base for a number of the Plymouth’s top sporting teams including Plymouth Argyle Ladies & Disability squads, The FA, Joola Plymouth Table Tennis Club, Eggbuckland Badminton club, Westpro and a number of football clubs including Activate FC and SB FC whose tea

ms compete in the Devon Junior Minor Football League. Allowing our Football Development classes to feed into the clubs has proved a most mutually beneficial partnership with the club becoming one of the largest and most successful in the Plymouth area. We also have a varied fitness based timetable this includes our own college spin studio housing 13 spin bikes, Yoga and gymnastics classes. The College also facilitates rebounder classes, Zumba and The Deborah Bond dance school. The Activate programme has an extensive mixed martial arts timetable which includes Kids and adult kickboxing, Taekwon-Do, Krav Maga , Karate and MMA. Outside of the programme of activities there are also a number of areas available to hire, Including All Weather Pitch with Floodlights, Grass Pitches – Football/Cricket, Gymnasium, Sports Hall and Seminar Rooms. We're still revelling in how good England were on Sunday night ⚽ If your budding Lions and Lionesses are feeling super motivated having watched the incredible matches this year, then we are offering them the chance to come and fast track their own football development at one of our weekly football masterclasses free of charge 😲

Players can come to a free trial session in either the Monday or Thursday Masterclasses which run from 4-5:30pm at Eggbuckland Community College under the expert guidance of Charlie Legg ⚽

There are only a limited number of places available for each session, so players need to contact the office by emailing 📧 [email protected] with the title 'World Cup Special'. Please also let us know the name of the player, a contact number for their grown up and also the preferred choice of day and we will make contact to get them booked in for a free session before the classes stop for Xmas 🎄

PLUS, if you haven't already, there is still time to join us for our World Cup themed Xmas Football Camps which are running at Plymouth College from the 19th - 21st December. With our super popular tournament day on Wednesday being 'World Cup' themed this Xmas we know your little stars won't want to miss out on this 🏆
