Our members and visitors come from all over the city (and beyond!) to enjoy the unique sailing club atmosphere and well organised events we hold, the race night food is pretty special too! Our racing series are held throughout the year with some weekends. We also encourage participation in long distance racing and local regattas. We play an active part in the Port of Plymouth Regatta and the Ullman Sails Long Distance series. Our 2014 weekly calender overview:
Cadets: Tuesday nights throughout the year from 18.00

The sailing club runs an extensive cruising programme within the English Channel and beyond. We also have a great team of volunteers who provide our cadet sailing. In addition to hosting a variety of club social activities throughout the year, we have facilities to hire for private functions where bar and catering are available. Our chef served for over 20 years in the Royal Navy on board The Royal Yacht Britannia. The Plym Yacht Club race start box is situated on the western end of Mount Batten Breakwater. This provides an extensive view of the main club racing area, Plymouth Sound and its approaches. There are moorings available with facilities for catamarans. The club opening hours are:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 7.30pm -11pm
Sunday 12pm - 4pm
