Our instructors are qualified to the high levels required to instruct and our DBS, first aid, child safeguarding qualified, ensuring you receive the best quality tuition available. Our instructors have been studying Taekwon-Do and Kick Boxing for many years, and that quality shows through the standard of our students, both coloured belt and black belt. New Wave Martial Arts are schools which are

run by Chief Instructor Mr Mark Bishop 5th Degree, Mr Josh Bishop 3rd Degree and along with Mrs Angela Bradley 4th Degree. By providing a welcoming and friendly approach, the schools aim to provide instruction on the Korean martial art of Taekwon-Do for both adults and children and Kickboxing for 12 years and above. We encourage all family members to come along and spend quality time together – what better incentive for your son or daughter to have Mum and Dad training alongside them. Children are taught stranger awareness and anti-bullying tactics. By joining New Wave Martial Arts we aim to increase your self-confidence, self-awareness and overall fitness. New Wave TKD & Kick Boxing covers the Plymouth and Cornwall area with Schools in Plymouth, Liskeard and Torpoint with over 250 members. 💥CLASS CANCELLED TONIGHT💥

Dear Plymouth students/parents,

We are cancelling tonight's class due to the weather. We think it is the responsible thing to do. The school is closing early today and we would be up in the gym tonight and you all know how warm it gets. We apologize for the inconvenience. Friday will be on as usual.

☀️TIMETABLE CHANGES DUE TO WEATHER WARNING ☀️

As the Met office has issued a weather warning for this week until Thursday, we are going to adjust our Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday class times. We are asking Kickboxers to come in an hour earlier for those days.

All classes will be slower and less intense. Please be hydrated before coming to class. Wear T-shirt and shorts if you wish, and bring plenty of fluids. We completely understand you having the night off. Times will return to usual Friday.

As you can see below, if any Adult TKD students want to come in early and join in our junior classes, then please do. We expect classes to be quiet and you may want to do your hour, with your child and get home. Feel free to do both hours if you wish.
