The O.P.M. Club

The O.P.M. Club The O.P.M. Club is for former pupils of Plymouth College & St. Dunstan's Abbey Our alumni can be found all over the world and include many illustrious names.

The initials stand for Old Plymothians and Mannameadians who are are past pupils of today's Plymouth and Mannamead College, more usually known as Plymouth College a private, independent, co-educational, day and boarding school - that came about by the amalgamation of Plymouth's two premier schools, Mannamead School (1854) and Plymouth College (1877) in 1896. The OPM Club, is a paid up members' ass

ociation of past pupils, set up to service those members and is well-known in the South West for its sporting sections. Those sections are open to non - OPM's and their annual registration fee to that particular section makes them an Associate Member of the main OPM club for that year. After many years with no permanent home, in 2004 we moved into new, purpose built premises situated within the grounds of Plymouth College and are now able to offer members, both locally based and passing through, somewhere to meet other OPM's over a pint as well as having a venue to hold regular social events.

We were delighted to meet over 20 OPMs at the London drinks this week, from the 1950/60s all the way up to 2024!

The majority of attendees had never been to an OPM event and were keen to come again, bringing their peers & partners. Several met old friends they hadn’t seen since school which was lovely.

It was capped by a wonderful talk from the Head, Peter Watts, who discussed recent successes and the exciting future ahead under Galaxy Global.

We will be looking to run another event later in the year, keep an eye on social media and make sure you're getting the emails from [email protected]

London OPMs! Come along and meet other OPMs at our next London Drinks!

Please join us on Tuesday 19 May for an evening of socialising and meeting peers. We will be joined by Peter Watts, the Headmaster of Plymouth College, who will give an update on all recent exciting developments there.

We will meet from 6pm at famous London landmark, The Admiralty, on Trafalgar Square. The O.P.M. Club has generously supplied a good bar tab as well so we hope you can join us!

It is away, and the boys would love some support to cheer them on to get some silverware!

Entry is £5 cash on the door, with proceeds being split evenly between the clubs.
