ON THE DAY OF YOUR DRIVING TEST
DO NOT THINK OR ACT LIKE A LEARNER

There is a shift that needs to happen on test day.
It is not about nerves, luck, or hoping the examiner is kind.
It is about mindset.
If you think like a learner, you will drive like a learner and if you drive like a learner, you will remain one.

By the time your test arrives, you should already be driving with the habits of a newly qualified driver.
Not perfect, but capable.
Not hesitant, but steady.
Not unsure, but prepared.

A learner waits for constant reassurance.
A driver takes responsibility for their decisions.

A learner hesitates and second guesses.
A driver plans early and commits calmly.

A learner watches the examiner.
A driver watches the road.

The test does not turn you into a driver.
It simply confirms you already are one.

If your mindset is still
“Am I allowed to do this?”
“Am I doing this right?”
“What will the examiner think?”
then you are not ready yet. And that is not failure. That is honesty. With honesty comes growth.

Walk into the test with the same approach you need for the rest of your driving life. Awareness, judgement, planning, patience, and belief in your training.

Do not aim to impress the examiner.
Aim to demonstrate who you already are behind the wheel.

If you think like a driver, you will drive like a driver.

If you drive like a driver, the result will take care of itself.

Due to a couple of recent passes I have a few Automatic spaces for committed learners.

Mondays and Tuesdays between 11am and 3pm.

Automatic driving lessons.

Ideally I would like to only cover Plymstock and Plympton or areas very near to these.

Only available on Monday and Tuesdays - during school hours only.
