Jules Laville YOGA Yoga Teacher/Tutor
Studio & Live Online
Classes, Courses & 1-1's I’m so glad you are here! You are never too old or too unfit to start yoga! Just do it!

My name is Jules Laville, I am an experienced yoga teacher E-RYT & YACEP - Yoga Alliance Continuing Educational Provider with Yoga Alliance International. I offer various yoga classes (studio & live online, courses & 1-2-1’s (private, studio or live online) for all abilities, ages & genders. So, if you are either a complete beginner, dabble in a bit of yoga now and then or have an established yoga practice you are always welcome to my classes. I am currently facilitating 1-2-1’s with an 89 year old lady & in my Gentle Yoga Flow class on Wednesday afternoon’s, a lady joined recently for her first ever yoga class at the age of 82. People start yoga for many different reasons. People come along because they want to simple move/exercise more, build physical strength, manage stress levels, improve mobility, learn to relax, because they are recovering from an injury or illness, to relax, to increase energy levels, for anxiety, for depression, because they have been referred by a health practitioner, or maybe because they want to learn some of the cool poses and so on. So whatever your reason is for wanting to start yoga! There are no excuses. Here are my top 4 tips if you are new to yoga/want to get back to it:
1. Find a class that fits in with your weekly schedule and committee to it for at least 2 months. If you can buy a class pass. Don’t expect the impossible, be patient, give yourself time.

2. If you can aim for 2 classes a week studio or live online. You will notice and enjoy the benefits quicker which helps with motivation. If you only have time for one weekly class try to find 15 minutes a few times a week to practice some of the pose & breathing exercises from class.

3. Remind yourself to just do what you can and that we get good at what we practice!

4. Set yourself some monthly or longer term goals. I started yoga in my 40’s when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I’m so glad I did! Yoga helped me physically, mentally and emotionally not only to get through these extremely stressful & fearful times but also I was able to thrive. Now more than ever we need to take care of ourselves! When we feel balanced, strong, grounded and calm we are able to fully be there for the important people in our lives when they need us. For me this is my motivation for practicing yoga… it is such a wondeful gift. What is Yoga Flow/Vinyasa ? And why do we love it? Vinyasa/Flow is a popular style of yoga that links together yoga poses into a various fluid sequences. A typical vinyasa/flow class will include a good balance of dynamic, energetic, rhythmic sequences/flows that move with the breath alongside slower, mindful, sustained & deep stretch sequences/flows. This nurturing style of yoga can be challenging but at the same time so rewarding allowing your body & mind to flow and relax in new directions. The benefits include:
Cardiovascular exercise
A healthy physical & mental challenge
Builds strength (all parts of your body)
Increases range of mobility/flexibility
Increased focus/concerntration by going with the flow
Find stability & balance
Awareness of the breath and its power over our wellbeing
Stress Relief helping one to find in calm
It’s enjoyable, uplifting & increases energy levels
Helps one live a healthy lifestyle and be at peace with oneself.

20 strangers. One circle. A lifetime of memories

Feeling deeply blessed for this special time at Bela Colina, Portugal. ✨

A chance to step away from the responsibilities of running a yoga studio and navigating the demands of business in these ever-changing times, and instead simply be.

To gather with a beautifully random collection of 20 healers from around the world. To share, connect, listen, learn, laugh, and remember what truly matters.

The nourishing food. The stunning natural surroundings. The peace, presence, and simplicity of life immersed in nature.

Together, we’ve created memories that will last a lifetime and experiences that will continue to shape our lives long after we’ve left.

My heart is full of gratitude for Bela Colina, for every person who shared this journey, for every living being that makes this place so special, and especially for Snow 🐕 🐝 for all the love, the buzz, connection, giving, and receiving.

A reminder that sometimes the most important thing we can do is slow down, open our hearts, and simply be.

With so much love and gratitude. ❤️🙏

I’d love you to join me for this immersive Yin Yoga Practice 🌷 Preparing for Spring 💛
If you are seeking some quiet, stillness, some time to reflect, let go, just be try Yin Yoga!

Preparing for spring involves transitioning from winter’s stillness to the rising energy of renewal. This seasonal shift typically focuses on the Wood element and the Liver and Gallbladder meridians to support detoxification and emotional balance.
Yin Yoga is an inclusive, accessible yoga practice. I offer plenty of modifications, variations to work with your body and mind how it is on the day.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative practice that focuses on deep stretching, relaxation and rest. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, yin targets the deep connective tissues of the body, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia.

Full Body & Mind Yoga Flow class | studio or live online | Wednesdays 6-7:15pm is a friendly, welcoming , invigorating yoga flow practice designed to fill the body and mind with a positive energy and a sense of deep inner calm. These classes/practices have been helping students for years too establish a lifelong yoga practice that is sustainable and adaptable to their body’s, mind’s & life’s changing needs.

💫 Sustainable Movement: Rather than pushing for the “perfect” pose, we focus on creating a stable foundation and functional strength. This approach ensures your practice supports your well-being today and for years to come.

💫 Adaptable & Inclusive: Jules has a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome, relaxed, and safe. Throughout the flow, she provides various modifications and options, allowing you to meet yourself exactly where you are each week.

💫 Mindful Connection: Full Body & Mind Yoga Flow playfully explores the balance between effort & ease and strength & surrender. Every movement is lead by a conscious breath, as we flow through various posture sequences that build strength and flexibility while anchoring you in a deep, inner stillness.

💫 Beyond the Mat: You will learn safe alignment and practical tools to develop a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself, helping you move with more ease and peace in your everyday life.

As with all my classes/practices, you will be encouraged to listen to your body, to modify and rest when you need. Modifications & various options are always provided.

Life moves fast... are you waiting for the “perfect” time to start yoga? ✨

Do you keep telling yourself:
👉”When I have more energy, I’ll start yoga”
👉”When this busy project, my work, to do list is done, I’ll start yoga.”
👉”When I’m a bit stronger, I’ll start yoga.”
👉”When my back feels more mobile, I’ll start yoga.”
👉”When I’m not so stressed and have more time, I’ll start yoga”

The truth? Yoga isn’t the reward for being flexible or strong, for when you are relaxed and feel balanced … it’s the pathway to getting there.
You don’t need to be “ready” to step onto the mat; you just need to show up.
