About Lauren…

Lauren brings an impressive playing background, a passion for coaching and fantastic experience working with golfers of all ages.

Playing golf since the age of 7
2x County Champion
University Champion
Turned Professional in 2025
Coached at one of the country’s top private schools
Former Devon County Junior tennis player
Lauren is passionate about helping golfers develop their skills, build confidence and get more enjoyment from their game.

Weekend Range Ball Picker / Range Operative

Plymouth Golf Centre – Weekend Position

Plymouth Golf Centre is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Weekend Range Ball Picker / Range Operative.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable with early starts.

Working Hours:

Weekend work only
Typically two full days per weekend
Early starts required – usually from 7:00am

Main Responsibilities:

Collecting and retrieving golf balls from the driving range outfield
Operating a Range Ball Picker vehicle during the summer months
Using both machine and propelled collection equipment during winter months
Washing, sorting, and managing golf balls ready for daily use
Returning golf balls safely to the range garage and operational areas
Ensuring the driving range outfield is maintained to a high standard
General range maintenance and operational duties
Assisting with an additional afternoon ball pick when required
Potentially supporting with Range Host duties when needed
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the driving range

What We’re Looking For:

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to work independently and efficiently
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining standards
Previous grounds, machinery, or golf experience helpful but not essential
Full driving licence essential due to vehicle operation and movement around busy operational areas

Pay:

Good rates of pay available, depending on experience and suitability of applicant
