In Deep Dive Centre is based within the “Mountbatten Watersports and Activities Centre” and we are proud to be the only official supplier for all diver training and dive boat charter to the University of Plymouth. We operate three MCA licensed commercial vessels for sports/commercial diving operations. We provide safety boat services as well as media, film, tv production on/in water support and ad

vice. Our experienced skippers regularly visit many wrecks & reefs in the area and, along with our diving crew, can offer you a very safe and enjoyable experience whatever it may be. If diving is not for you, why not join us on one of our many blue shark snorkelling trips during the summer months! In Deep also offers diver training at all levels including recreational, technical and commercial as well as diving equipment sales and cylinder refills. We have one of the largest and safest gas stations in the UK with Air, Nitrox and Trimix banked on site. We are spending 4 full days purely on this epic frigate from 15th to 18th September, running 2 dives every day!

Sunk in 2004, she is stacked with 20 years of marine life, super intact, and famous for accessible upper decks (including the captain bath and toilets!)🤩

Saturday (5th): SS Riversdale (38-47m)
Sunday(6th): SS Skaala (40-48m)

Both of these steamers were carrying coal briquettes when they were torpedoed and sunk by a German submarine in 1917 during WWI. Today, they make for incredible, history-packed wreck dives!⚓️

The wind might be setting in for the weekend, but after a stunning 10-day streak and a perfect summer so far, we really cannot complain too much as a bit of breeze was long overdue!

We have had an absolute blast over the last week and a half. It was brilliant catching up with some of our most regular club members over the weekend for both recreational and technical diving. Earlier in the week, we were joined by a military dive club for a few days of fantastic fun diving. We also had the pleasure of welcoming our close Belgian friends from Delphinus Club for an epic 5-day Best of the South West trip🤩

We have visited nearly every recreational site in Plymouth over the last 10 days, and the conditions have been top tier. Visibility has consistently averaged around 8 meters all summer, and earlier this week an astonishing 15 meters vis was reported on the Persier!

A massive thank you to everyone who has dived with us recently, whether you traveled from just down the road, across Britain, or crossed borders to join the fun🤿

Another cracking weekend out on the water here in Plymouth! ☀️

From clear waters and beaming sunshine to a huge array of marine life spotted across the reefs and wrecks, the conditions could not have been better! We had an absolute blast catching up with some of our regular returning clubs and meeting plenty of new faces across the boats. The atmosphere was top-notch all weekend. 🤩

The marine life sightings were next level! At the surface, we were treated to incredible encounters with Minke whales, Risso's dolphins, and common dolphins. Underwater, the wildlife was out in full force, divers spotted blue sharks (Sundays Blue shark snorkelling trip), rays, catsharks, cuttlefish, octopus, and massive conger eels lurking in the wrecks, plus so much more! 🐋🐬🦈🐙

Calling all wreck lovers! We have an incredible week lined up, and we are dedicating 4 full days exclusively to the iconic HMS Scylla. We are running two dives a day from 15th to 18th September, and you can join us for a single day or go all in for several days of adventure🤩

Why Dive the HMS Scylla?
- Incredible History: A Leander class frigate decommissioned in 1993 and sunk as Whitsand Bay artificial reef in 2004.
- Teeming with Marine Life: With over 20 years on the seabed, she has transformed into a vibrant underwater ecosystem packed with life.
- Fantastic Pe*******on: An impressively intact wreck where the top two decks offer easy access to explore iconic spots like the captain bath and toilets!
