Devon vs. Cornwall, for bragging rights and the all new 2026 built Pasty Bowl trophy.

Shaldon Bakery will be on site with Pastys, sweet treats, and baked goods for you to enjoy whilst watching all the action.

Kick off is at 2pm, come down and support your local American Football team.

This weekend we welcomed Maverick Piccininni, from Exail to the Parkway.

Exail have come on board as the teams largest sponsor for the coming two years so we presented him with the first Vanguard jersey printed with their logo and a signed helmet from everyone who played against the Wyverns.

Vanguard Win 14-5.

A stout Defensive performance with the Defence only letting in a FG. 2 points was a holding call in the End Zone.

Our Defensive MVPs was NOT split, but instead two players warranted recognition.

LB #1 Joby Wolfenden-Brown, sponsored by absolutehealthfitness1 and DB #45 James Martin.

Two scores from RB #2 Tyler Johnson earned us 12 / 14 points, with some strong blocking up front from the Offensive Line.

Punter #5 Ryan Edgecombe dug the team out of some bad situations to put the game to bed.

Next week, we travel to Somerset for the return fixture.

Thanks to Maverick from Exail for travelling down to support and hand out our awards, Exail also bought every player a few beers to celebrate being 4-0.
