WELCOME TO THE CLUB, LEWIS!

We're delighted to welcome Lewis Roxby to Devonport Services RFC ahead of the 2026/27 season!

A Senior Navy player, Lewis is a fantastic addition to the squad and we're excited to see what he brings to the group.

Lewis said:

💬 "I'm really looking forward to joining Devonport Services for this upcoming season. The vision of the club is very exciting and it's a great opportunity for me to be a part of it and grow as a player. It is with great sadness that we share the details of the funeral service for our dear friend and club member, WO Sam Potts - former Player, Club Captain, Life Member and Clubman of Devonport Services RFC.

The Devonport Services family are invited to pay their respects and say a final farewell to Sam.

📍 Park Crematorium, Plymouth - Room 1
📅 Wednesday 23rd September 2026
⏰ 13:00

Dress code is what you feel comfortable in - though as Sam's favourite colour was red, red ties are warmly encouraged as a fitting tribute for Sam's final inspection.
On completion of the service, there will be a wake at The Rectory where friends and family are welcome to gather and celebrate Sam's life.

The first home game of the season is finally here - and The Rectory is ready!

We've spent the summer preparing for this moment. New sponsorship boards are up, the ground is looking great and we're ready to welcome National League Rugby to Plymouth for the first time this season.

After a promising performance away at Taunton last Friday, the lads will be hungry to get that first win on the board in front of a home crowd - and we need you there to make the atmosphere count!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their morning to come down to The Rectory and help us get ready for the new season!
