It isn’t goodbye; it is a beginning of a new adventure! 🙌
It has been an absolute pleasure to support community wrestling and we hope to see you all soon! 🤗
Tamar Community Wrestling
It is with a truly heavy heart that we bring you some difficult news today regarding the future of Tamar Community Wrestling...
Effective immediately, we've made the incredibly hard decision to postpone Deadline Day and put all future TCW shows on pause for the foreseeable future.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly. Over the past few months, we have been hit with a perfect storm of challenges behind the scenes - from unexpected personal difficulties within the team, venue / technical changes and the mounting financial pressures caused by the ongoing cost of living crisis that is hitting small businesses and independent promotions everywhere.
Ultimately, running these shows at the standard you deserve has become unsustainable for us right now.
We want to be completely honest with you: our absolute hope and dream is to bring TCW back in the future. However, right now, we simply do not know how, when, or if that will be possible. Please keep an eye on our social media channels, as this is where we will post any updates if and when the time is right.
THE IMPORTANT PART
For anyone who has already purchased tickets for Deadline Day or a Trios / Season Ticket please rest assured that 100% of your ticket money will be refunded. We're currently sending out an email directly to all ticket holders with full details on how those automatic refunds are being processed.
Times are tough right now, and things are exceptionally difficult for so many. We are utterly heartbroken and disappointed that we can't carry on our journey with you at this moment, but we are so deeply proud of everything we have achieved together and every penny we’ve raised for Plymouth Hospitals Charity.
Finally, we have one huge favour to ask - please keep supporting local, independent wrestling in the South West. We know firsthand just how much blood, sweat, tears, and financial risk goes into putting on these events - and it's especially difficult to run a profitable show in this part of the country.
Buying a ticket well in advance of a show, picking up merch on the day and sharing a post for other indie promotions makes a world of difference to the people fighting to keep live entertainment alive.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love, noise, and support over the years. We hope to see you soon 🤞
