Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Helford BBQ Weekend due to a lack of numbers.

We're disappointed, as we were really looking forward to spending the weekend with everyone, but unfortunately we haven't had enough bookings to make the event viable.

Thank you to everyone who showed an interest and supported the event. We hope to organise another get-together in the future and look forward to seeing you all then.

Congrats to RPCYC entry Poco in this years 2026 Round the Island Race - they came 22nd in class and around 600th out of about 800 entrants - no bad for 1st timers!

⛵🌊 RPCYC Guernsey Rally 2026 – 12th to 15th June 🌊⛵

Join fellow RPCYC sailors and motor boaters for a fantastic long weekend cruising to the beautiful Channel Island of Guernsey!

Based at Victoria Marina, St Peter Port, this informal rally offers a great mix of cruising, social events, island exploration, and good company.

🍹 Welcome Pontoon Party from 19:30 (bring your own drinks and nibbles)
🎶 Informal dinner gathering at The Terrace Garden Café with live music

Saturday 13 June
🚤 Trip to Herm Island
🥾 Island walk and lunch
🌅 Evening ashore at your leisure

Sunday 14 June
🏖️ Free day for sightseeing, beaches, or relaxing
🍷 Pontoon drinks at 18:00
🍽️ Rotating Dinner onboard participating club boats from 18:45

Monday 15 June
⚓ Rally concludes and boats depart on individual programmes

For those departing from Plymouth, a suggested cruise-in-company passage via Salcombe is planned, with a skipper's briefing to be held at the Clubhouse prior to departure.

Whether you're an experienced Channel Islands cruiser or making the trip for the first time, this promises to be a memorable weekend of boating, friendship, and adventure.

📣 Upcoming Club Event – Scillies Trip: Cruise in Company ⛵🌊

We're excited to announce an upcoming Scillies Trip – Cruise in Company, planned for 1st July to 8th July.

This fantastic event is being organised with help from Graham Atwell, offering members the opportunity to cruise together and enjoy the beautiful Isles of Scilly in great company.

⛵ Helford River Meet 2026 ⛵

The Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club is delighted to invite members to a relaxed and sociable weekend on the beautiful Helford River.

Join fellow members for a fantastic summer cruising meet, with opportunities to enjoy both the water and the wonderful surroundings ashore.

🔥 Saturday Beach BBQ
We've arranged with the Budock Vean Hotel to use their beach area on Saturday afternoon for a casual bring-your-own BBQ. Bring your own food, disposable BBQ, and drinks, and enjoy a laid-back afternoon by the river with friends old and new.

⚓ Moorings Available
A number of swinging moorings have been reserved with the Harbour Master for visiting boats.

❗ Important – Please Book via the Club Website
If you plan to attend, it is essential that you book your place through the club website and provide your boat size and type. We are required to confirm final numbers with the Harbour Master in advance so that sufficient moorings can be reserved for visiting boats. Bookings must be received no later than 10 days before the event.

🏠 Clubhouse Access
Our thanks to Helford River Sailing Club, who have kindly arranged pontoon access and permission for us to use their clubhouse facilities throughout the weekend, including food and refreshments, showers, and toilets.

💷 Overnight Mooring Fees (payable directly to the Harbour Master)

• 30.1ft – 35ft – £27
• 35.01ft – 39.5ft – £29
• 39.6ft – 45.9ft – £31

🎟️ This is a free club event.

🌊🔥 Fowey Pontoon BBQ – 27th June 2026 🔥🌊

It's that time of year again!

Back by popular demand, we've reserved Pontoon 1 in Fowey for the nights of 26th and 27th June, with our much-loved Pontoon BBQ taking place on the evening of Saturday 27th June.

We're already up to 14 vessels booked, and space is limited to 18 vessels. Once we're full, you'll need to arrange alternative berthing, so if you're planning to join us, please book through the website as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

£15–£18 per person
Tickets cover BBQ food only
Drinks and mooring fees are not included
Tickets are per person, not per vessel

We've reserved the pontoon for both nights, and a full programme of activities can be found on the club website.
