Iโve spent years following various training, fitness and diet regimes to try to lose weight, tone up and feel good about myself, which is the reason I decided to become a PT. My goal as a PT is to create a safe space for my clients and support them every step of the way, to reach their goals - however big or small they may be. where I work - I work from plymouth ymca, ymca have had a complete refu
rbishment of the training facility and I am excited to see what the future brings. Additionally, I can accommodate training for up to two people if clients want to bring a friend for support or to train together. A little more about me
My fitness journey started in a pool. At the age of 13 I started to swim and within a year I turned competitive. Taking part in different local swimming competitions. At the age of 16 I turned to open water swimming, taking part in many Devon and South West counties competitions - winning quite a few. In 2011, I swam the English Channel for the first time in 10 hours and 59 minutes, but I wanted to beat that time,so in 2013 I attempted it the second time, but unfortunately I was pulled out of the water with 1 mile to go due to the weather turning. During my training for swimming competitions and challenges, I also trained at the gym and slowly my passion for training on land developed. Itโs now part of my everyday life and I couldnโt imagine living without it. This is what I want to share with my clients, the happiness and confidence that training can bring into your life.
