⚽️ MATCH DAY REPORT ⚽️

What a performance from the Elm girls today! Every single player gave 100%, worked hard for each other and showed fantastic teamwork from start to finish.

Defensively, Olive and Erin were incredible, putting in tackle after tackle and helping keep the opposition at bay. Captain Ruby led by example, covering the midfield line brilliantly and constantly encouraging her teammates throughout the game.

Super Harley was putting in some mega tackles at the back too, sending it up to her teammates, fantastic support! 👏

Paisley showed fantastic listening skills, taking everything she’d worked on in training and applying it on the pitch. She was absolutely on fire down the wing today! 🔥

A special mention also to Isabelle, who was awarded Opposition Player of the Match, a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. 👏

Today we rotated our two keepers, both of them showed incredible ball skills, with some big kicks and clever saves, both Chloe and Izzy had it covered 💕

A brilliant performance from both Elm sides today in very tough conditions! The heat definitely tested everyone, but every player kept working hard, supporting each other, and showing fantastic determination right until the final whistle 👏

Goals today from:
⚽️ ⚽️ Imogen, both from midfield, absolute baller
⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️ Harley, with some incredibly clever positioning and great awareness in front of goal
⚽️ Erin, after a strong performance in midfield, winning the ball back and driving the team forward to get herself a much deserved goal!

Special mention to today’s captain, Isabelle 💙 After a fantastic effort in training on Tuesday, she earned the captain’s armband and absolutely worked her boots off today. Isabelle put in a huge shift both in goal and outfield, showing brilliant determination, teamwork, and leadership throughout the match 👏

Although this was a friendly, the girls approached it with a fantastic attitude and gave maximum effort from start to finish. We’ve still got lots to work on and some tough games ahead, but performances like today show just how much potential this team has 💙

A huge well done to every single player today, especially for battling through the heat and still playing with smiles on their faces ☀️👏
