♥️⭐️🥋Learning life-saving skills. Making a real difference.
On Saturday, Peninsula Judo hosted our First Aid Course, and we're delighted to announce that all of our coaches and volunteers are now First Aid trained. 👏🚑
The day was packed with practical learning, hands-on scenarios, and invaluable knowledge that could one day help save a life. These skills not only help us provide a safer environment on the mat, but they also give our team the confidence to respond in emergency situations wherever they may occur.
A huge thank you to Allan Sunderland for delivering such an informative, engaging, and professional course. The feedback from everyone who attended has been fantastic, and we're incredibly grateful for the time, expertise, and experience Allan shared with us.
At Peninsula Judo, the safety and wellbeing of our members will always be a top priority, and this training is another important step in ensuring our club remains a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all.

We’ve had a bit of a change for our Winter Open this year. There will be no Under 8s category. Instead it will be a green belt and under event including Senior Kyu grades.

Kelly Petersen-Pollard wins gold in the -70kg category at Glasgow 2026! 🥇🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The English judoka adds Commonwealth Games gold to her list of achievements, building on the bronze medal she won at Birmingham 2022 with a superb display in Glasgow. Kelly sealed the title with a brilliant victory over top seed and world No. 2 Aoife Coughlan (AUS)! 🔥
