Most fighters are either taking random supplements they don’t need…

Or using the useful ones completely wrong.

Caffeine before every session.

Beta alanine once before comp like it’s going to magically do something.

Creatine started the week of a weight cut.

Beetroot juice on comp day with no idea how their stomach reacts.

Baking soda because someone on Instagram said it gives you cardio.

That’s not performance nutrition.

That’s guessing.

The truth is supplements can help, but only when the basics are already in place.

Calories.

Carbs.

Protein.

Hydration.

Sleep.

Training structure.

Once that’s sorted, then caffeine, creatine, beta alanine, nitrates and sodium bicarbonate can actually have a place.

But the dose matters.

The timing matters.

The context matters.

And if you’re a tested athlete, don’t just buy random stuff online and hope for the best.

Use batch tested products.

Check Informed Sport.

Keep photos of the tub, label and batch number.

Because if something dodgy is in it, it’s still your responsibility.

Supplements are not magic.

They’re the extra edge once the boring stuff is handled.

Comment RESPECT if you think wrestling needs to stay wrestling.

I get it.

Khamzat kicking off gets views.

Arman kicking off gets views.

Brawls, clips, drama, controversy, it all helps push RAF into the mainstream.

But at what point does it stop promoting wrestling and start making the sport look like a circus?

These are elite athletes.

World class fighters.

Lads kids look up to.

And when the match is done, the match is done.

You can be intense.
You can be aggressive.
You can be a killer competitor.

But kicking someone after the whistle and turning a wrestling event into a scrap does not respect the sport.

Good for views?

Probably.

Good for wrestling?

Not a chance.
