A McConks board costs less than you would imagine. Let us explain...

As we are a small family-run business that offers a premium product, you would anticipate the costs would be higher than average. But no.

We run on a direct to consumer model, whereby our products come from us, direct to you. No middle-men, no distributers, no additional markup.

Furthermore, our products are designed to last! Our boards will last you longer than cheaper alternatives. You may end up needing two or three other brand boards in the time that on McConks board will last you.

A useful guide from our friends at McConks

At McConks we are always pushing for people to be as safe as possible when out on the water. Here are our top few tips!

1. Wear the right leash for your location! We always recommend you use a quick-release belt, unless you're surfing, in which an ankle leash is more appropriate.

2. Always use a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) to keep you afloat if (when!) you fall in.

3. Check forecast. Wind strength. Wind direction. Tide. Local rules. No surprises.

4. Paddle with a buddy when you can. If solo, tell someone the plan plus a return time and ensure you're always paddling within your skill level.
