Shuzoku Judo Club Shuzoku is a BJA Northern Home Counties Judo Club

Shuzoku Judo Club was established in 2010 formally known as Leighton Corinthians Judo Club established in the early 1990's. The club traditionally runs on Saturday mornings and teachers from the age of five upwards and boasts a club membership of over 60 players. The club is run by Judo coaches and competitors Kyle W.F Perry, Hollie Jones, and Robert Aston. The trio started their Judo careers as y

oung players at the club and have been dedicated members ever since. Shuzoku is one of the leading clubs in the Home Counties and brings in medals from all round the UK. Training times:

Kano's (under 8's) - 9.30am to 10.30am

Juniors (ages 8 to 16) - 10.30am to 11.30am

Seniors (ages 16+) - 11.30am to 12.45pm


Fees:

£3.50 per lesson (First lesson FREE)

Kyle clinched a well-earned bronze at this year’s European Veterans, marking a strong finish in his final year in M2! A remarkable achievement that wraps up an incredible chapter in his career before he moves on to the M3 category.

After a tough loss to Georgia, he bounced back in style, defeating Germany and Estonia to secure a spot on the podium! Israel claimed the gold, while silver and the second bronze went to Giorgia. Team GB had an incredible day, bagging multiple medals across both the men’s and women’s categories. Next year, Kyle will make his debut at M3, and you can bet he’ll be gunning for that elusive gold. This weekend’s triumph brings his championship tally to an impressive 3 silvers and 1 bronze—proof that he’s just getting started!

Kyle Perry takes the British Masters M2 Gold medal for the last time as he steps into M3 from 2026. Fighting for the Budokwai London and Team Shuzoku he received his medal from former Olympic Gold medallist Shohei Ono. Kyle goes on to compete for Great Britiain in Riga - Latvia, for the European Masters Championship this May.
