Massive well done to Lee Jemmett and Paul Wallace who were part of an England Over 45s side who came out winners in the 2026 Masters Home Internationals Series in Cardiff.

Just a handful of matches remain in the 25/26 Winter League season and the title races are reaching their conclusion 👀🔥

🏆 Huge congratulations to Woodford Wells 2 on securing the East Division title by just FOUR points!
👏 Credit as well to David Lloyd 3, who pushed them all the way in one of the closest battles of the season.

🏆 Congratulations also to Walthamstow Blue, crowned West Division champions with a game to spare after a dominant campaign 💪

The Premier Division still has plenty on the line heading into the final fixtures… 👀

Huge congratulations to Keeley Steel who represented England Women’s Over 35/40 team in the 2026 Masters Home Internationals Series at GLTC Squash Galway over the past two days.

The team finished 2nd place overall!

Finals night on Friday for the Essex Cups saw three champions crowned.

Gidea Park claimed the Sanderson Cup, Woodford Wells 2 lifted the Webster Trophy, and Walthamstow Blue dominated to win the Woodhouse Trophy.

Big thanks to our hosts, The Woodford Wells Club, for a great night of squash and to all the teams and players who competed throughout the competition.

Tomorrow night is the Finals Night, a culmination of two months of competitive cup squash.

We will get the action underway at The Woodford Wells Club from 7pm tomorrow night and would love to see the balcony packed for the big games.

What a fantastic day at the Essex OpenSquash57 Doubles Championships 2026 held at The Woodford Wells Club on Sunday 22 March!

The event began with a pool phase leading into the Monrad Open ‘A’ and Pool Open ‘B’, with incredibly close matches throughout the day.

In the Open A, after many matches going the distance, Amber Marshall & Ted Jeal were crowned champions, with Zoe Fennell & Patrick Osborn runners-up.

Open B was decided by just a single point, with Graham Appleby & Mark Banfield taking the win, and David Morse & Simon Shipgood finishing runners-up.

Top effort from our four sides in action at this weekends England Squash Masters Inter-counties Round One. Our Over 35’s were the success story, winning both matches to top the group and head to the finals later this year. Our Over 65’s certainly got into the spirit of the weekend as the last photo shows!!
