Strathtay Golf Club

Strathtay Golf Club Strathtay Golf Club is a short but spectacular course set in rural Perthshire Each tee marker tells a little of the history of that hole.

The course was laid out in 1909 by Captain Steuart of Ballechin and saw only minor alterations for almost one hundred years. During 2008 the club decided to add nine additional tees to mark the imminent centenary of the club and the new layout has been very well received by members and visitors alike. A booklet telling the history of the club is available at Strathtay Stores and can be downloaded

as an e-book by following this link

Check out the hole by hole guide and scorecard to see what lies in store for you! Our green keeper is Alastair McNab, better known as Bongo, and he keeps the course in remarkable condition throughout the season with very little assistance. You will see him on the course most days and he’ll be happy to offer his advice and point you in the right direction.
