More information for everyone regarding Ashcombe Clay Shooting Ground.
We are moving along quickly from where we were two weeks ago, yesterday we agreed everything with the lovely Staples family and we’d like to thank them personally for helping us to achieve this.
Opening Hours (Summer)
Mon Closed
Tues Closed
Weds 9.30 – 5pm
Thurs 9.30 – 8pm (Aug 11,18,25, Sept 1st)
Fri 9.30 – 5pm
Sat 9.30 – 5pm
Sun 10 – 3pm (10 - 4 on Competition days)

We are open for shooters from the 3rd August so we can all get back to breaking some clays!!!
We are very much aware of the current climate, both clients and friends are asking about pricing. We will be charging 35p a clay (Incl vat), its our aim to make this your club at club rates so hopefully this represents that.
We will be investing heavily into the ground over the coming months and we promise this investment from SGC will not be passed on to the shooters. Our aim is to maintain prices as long as the cost of clays stays the same from our suppliers.
I think we all share a common goal to have Ashcombe up and running again. Lots more to come.

Sadly with the end of the season on the horizon , it is time for you to consider a simulated game with your shooting friends during the spring or summer. We have 20 plus years experience.We operate from the 15th April until the late autumn depending on weather conditions. Any day other than Sundays, full teams of 10/12 only please. The ground produces challenging clays. Bacon roll on arrival , elevenses and light lunch. Price varies from £210 per gun depending on group size. Ring or PM to discuss your requirements.

New Promatic Falcon 8 fitted on top of our tower at Pimperne. Stunning trap and ideal for those wanting practice for driven game shooting. Thanks to Jay Frampton and Tom Taylor for assisting. 3 schools in full flow coming once a week ranging between 15 and 30 kids for instruction on the ground. Sim days now taking off. Weather has been kind, but ma be too humid for some. Latest day was last Saturday when 12 guns arrived for bacon baps, tea or coffee at our new shoot lodge venue.
