You know him as Tim or Coach but did you know he is an avid runner ? Words from Tim “Hi Everyone this year ive decided to enter the Great North Run 2026 and I have decided to run for A charity known as SASH (Safe and Sound Homes) this charity helps local teenagers and young adults who by no fault of their own have become homeless, and help them get a new start in life even help them get through education and into working life. For me being in a group of volunteers at a local judo club knows how much a couple of hours a week at a local judo club can do for a young persons development. Sash can react in under an hour to find a young person accommodation in times of need it really is great work they do. Any donation would be greatly appreciated no matter the amount”

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Graham Watson!
Graham was a previous Judoka and coach here at Ryedale Judo Club!
Even though Graham moved he was always in contact with the Club following our achievements over the years with great enthusiasm!
His wicked sense of humour,smile and chats with the team will be missed greatly!
R.I.P Graham! Sensei Rei 🫶🏻⛩️🥋

🌟Final Junior summer session 🌟
Massive thanks go out to all our junior Judoka and amazing parents for turning out for some incredibly hot and sweaty sessions over the summer holidays!!
Juniors return for the new term on Wednesday 9th September in our home Dojo!! Our coaching team and committee are organising yet another exciting fun packed year ahead!! We hope to see you all on the Tatami soon!! 🫶🏻💪🥋⛩️

What a good summer turn out our seniors have had tonight!!! Always a good sign at end of session when everyone and their gis are sweaty!!! Also good to have our Hak back from his adventure in Japan. As well as having our Miss Mae back for tonight’s session whilst she’s back from base briefly.
