Great spring riding conditions today. Ride out from Kontour Cycles at Polegate for a 45 mile loop.

Rovers enjoyed fantastic results at the East Sussex Cycling Association’s 25-mile time trial on Sunday.

With seven riders on the start sheet, the club had a strong presence and delivered some outstanding performances. Dave Clark claimed 2nd place overall, narrowly edging out last year’s winner, Adam, by just two seconds. Paul also produced a superb ride to finish 9th overall, helping secure the fastest team prize for the Rovers.

There were further individual highlights: Anita stormed to 2nd fastest lady, while both Adam and Dave added to their success with age category victories. And giving the entire field a rousing send-off was George, providing the Rovers’ trademark encouragement from the start line.

All in all, it was a brilliant day of racing for the club and a fantastic showcase of Rover strength on the road.
