Reasons why diets sucks 👇🏼⁣

1. They have a finish date⁣

2. They don’t teach you how to stay lean ⁣

3. Most diets cause weight gain after they finish ⁣

4. Dieters will always struggle with their weight⁣

5. Dieters have a poor relationship with food ⁣

6. Dieting translates to most people as ‘half starving’ themselves ⁣

7. Dieters lose weight quickly - which is mostly muscle & not fat⁣

8. After losing muscle it makes losing weight harder again in the future ⁣

9. Diet implies a quick fix which doesn’t exist in the health & fitness world⁣

10. Dieters have to diet regularly because they struggle to keep their weight down ⁣

11. People who sell diets rely on consistent income from you (they want you to fail so you buy again)⁣

12. Diets aren’t enjoyable in anyway ⁣

13. Dieters tend to approach exercise as punishment ⁣

14. Dieters have a 💩 metabolism ⁣

15. Diets are ironically the least effective way to lose weight 😬⁣

My face when someone says “I’m going to just eat healthier to lose weight” 😅🐶⁣



Did you know that “eating healthier” & “losing weight” are two different goals?🤔⁣

I mean sure, off course they fall under the same umbrella but they’re very different ⁣

If you want to eat better you can slap some more veggies on your plate, snack on fruit & switch to more fibrous carbs 🥳⁣

And this is all great stuff⁣

But has this helped you lose weight?⁣

I mean possibly, but not necessarily 😬⁣

A calorie is a calorie ⁣

Sure, some choices have more nutrients than others ⁣

but 500 calories of organic hand-caught salmon is exactly the same as 500 calories of deep fried cod from your local chippy⁣

So just because you snack on nuts now instead of biscuits ⁣

Or a flapjack instead of brownie ⁣

Or oat milk instead of cows milk⁣

Means absolutely 🦆 all from a fat loss point of view⁣

Absolutely none. ⁣

To lose weight you need to do just one thing:⁣

👉🏼👉🏼 Eat less calories 👈🏼👈🏼⁣

99% of people who I talk to have great diets⁣

All they need to do is eat a little less consistently 🤯⁣

If you’ve read this far I bet my bank balance you’ve got a pretty damn good diet, so all you need to do is eat less than you currently are ⁣

That’s it. Hope that makes sense 🙌🏼⁣

This photo was taken on a beach in The Gambia around 6 years ago ⁣

I lived & breathed the gym at this point ⁣

My top 3 subjects to talk with friends were;⁣

1. How many scoops of creatine they were on⁣

2. How bad their Dom’s were &⁣

3. How many meals of chicken & rice had they had that week⁣

I was always active at school & pretty unconfident so weight lifting for me was an absolute winner ⁣

Funnily enough though, even though in this photo I was in pretty good shape I was a HORRIFIC coach ⁣

The problem is when you’re so passionate about training & eating for performance it’s almost impossible to compute that others don’t feel that way⁣

It’s hard to think that their workout isn’t a priority⁣

And it was mind-boggling that they didn’t look forward to it all day 🤯⁣

This is something I see all the time & it’s something that I was so guilty of for so long ⁣

Trainers who adore their lifestyle trying to force it upon a middle-aged mum of 3 who works full time & has to taxi their kids around all weekend ⁣

Then when they can’t stick to it the trainer doesn’t change the plan just says they need to “want it more” or “must make it a priority”⁣

Just because someone’s in unreal shape doesn’t mean they’re a good coach ⁣

It means they know what to do for themselves - it doesn’t mean they’re any good at transforming someone else ⁣

So don’t pick a trainer who looks the part, find a trainer who understands you & your lifestyle ⁣

You’re WAYYYY more likely to actually get results & not feel like s**t when you’re “not trying hard enough” 🤯🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️⁣



Ps - studies actually show that men with delicious beards, crappy trucks from the 90s & dogs called Dug actually make the best trainers ⁣

Holyyy s**tballs we’ve had an intense couple of months working with a handful of legends like these 🥳⁣

The results the last 3 months have been absolutely unreal ⁣

So I want to take on one last Intake before the years out!⁣

I’m looking for 5 highly-motivated ladies that are looking to strip a stone of fat off & hit the new year running ⁣

Ladies must be prepared to exercise at least 3x30 minutes a week, understand we’ll need to make a few diet adjustments & are ready to start now 🥳⁣

I once got so drunk I woke up with a neighbours dog in my bed ⁣

I also got really drunk at one of Sarah’s clients birthdays, did the worm & accidentally kicked a very petite Asian lady⁣

Another time on a cruise ship I did the worm, overcooked it, landed chin first & as I looked up, I actually saw my heels ⁣

…In essence I turned myself into the worlds first non-vegetarian Hula-Hoop⁣

I also once got blotto’d with a friend & the next morning I realised I’d booked tickets to The Gambia, Africa ⁣

Had the best time, the beaches are awesome 👌🏼⁣

The way I look at it you can find a coach who spends more time taking selfie’s in the gym mirror & eating out of Tupperware… or you can find a coach who understands life’s for living & being flexible 💁🏼‍♀️⁣

Chose wisely 👀⁣


Oh yeah. The first bar I ever went in (I snuck in when I was 16) turned out to be a gay bar⁣

I had zero idea but got free drinks all night 😍⁣

“How often should I have a rest day?”⁣

I personally think a lot of people get a bit too carried away with rest days ⁣

If your goals to look completely different 90 days from now you should be exercising more days than you’re off in a week⁣

Exercise is such a critical ingredient to getting leaner that you want to be utilising it as much as possible ⁣

Increasing your metabolism as much as humanly possible involves you moving weight - which I think you should be doing 3/4 times a week ⁣

And the other days? Are they rest days? ⁣

Well, kind of 💁🏼‍♀️⁣

On your “rest days” you should be moving as much as humanly possible⁣

Do anything and everything that’s going to increase your fat burning potential but not leave you crippled for your next weight session ⁣

Imagine how quickly you could transform your body if you committed to 3x weight sessions a week & a minimum of 10k steps everyday 🤯⁣

Stop faffing about 🙋🏼‍♀️⁣

If you’ve got no time, spend it doing the best exercises⁣

You really don’t need long if you’re doing it right⁣

Press-ups will strengthen your whole upper body, toning & shaping your arms, shoulders & core ⁣

Chin-ups will fix your posture & develop those back muscles only really strong women have ⁣

Split lunges are your best friend if you’ve got no gym. Try them & you’ll soon realise you really don’t need weights to shape your legs & 🍑⁣

Tricep dips are going to tone that common problem area most women have.. the back of your arms ⁣

Single-leg glute bridges will shape your bum better than pretty much any exercise ⁣

Finally jacknifes are arguably the toughest exercise you can do for your poor abs. Raising your arms & legs will work the upper & lower abs at the same time which means you’ll get a lot of of just one exercise 👌🏼👌🏼⁣

Please don’t faff about with exercises getting you very little pay off for your limited time ⁣

Consistency is the number one focus of a successful training plan⁣

Consistency and enjoyment compliment each other perfectly ⁣

The bottom line is if you hate your training plan now, you’ll hate it even more in 2 weeks ⁣

So do what you enjoy doing ⁣

This is completely different for every single person, so there no right or wrong answer ⁣

Find exercise you love and eat the foods you love, just keep an eye on your portions / calories ⁣

An enjoyable transformation isn’t as complicated as most think ⁣
