Petworth Lawn Tennis Club We are proud to be the only tennis club within a radius of more than 15 miles of Petworth which offers play on grass.

The Club's two well maintained grass courts (open from mid April to mid September) are much enjoyed by the membership. For all year round play we have two excellent all weather hard courts.

🎾 Junior Tennis Coaching is back this summer!
We're delighted to be running 12 weeks of Saturday coaching at Petworth Lawn Tennis Club, starting 25th April and running through to 18th July.
Two age groups:

6–10 years: 2–3pm
11+ years: 3–4pm

The full programme is just £135 for 12 sessions. Non-members are very welcome — standard guest fees apply.

On Sunday 27th July Petworth Lawn Tennis Club hosted their annual Pimm’s open mixed doubles tournament at which the Club welcomed guest players from other local tennis clubs.

Twenty four players’ names went into a hat to reveal the twelve pairings who were split into two groups. They played five best-of-seven game matches.

The winners of Group A, Vanessa Busek (Midhurst LTC) and Richard Blackburn (Petworth LTC), went on to play a deciding final set against the winners of Group B, Sarah Wilford (Petworth LTC) and Tony Martin (Haslemere LTC). The winners of the final, which was played on the grass, were Vanessa Busek and Richard Blackburn (6-3).
